Why projekt_ard ?
„Particularly when we first take up contact with people, the question is often asked, why actually is our company called projekt_ard?
The answer is quite simple: the founder of the company, Armin Rausch from Dielheim (Deutschland, i.e., Germany) has been using these initials since his childhood days to label his various personal belongings.
He was reminded of this when he decided to set up his own company in 2007. He simply wanted every realized commission and product of his firm to be seen as nothing less than his own exclusively personal project.
The company name, projekt_ard, was the natural outcome.”
The Mannheimer Verein Kinderhospiz Sterntaler e. V. is a state-recognized association that finances a hospice for young people with incurable diseases, as well as helping to support their families in coping with their terribly difficult circumstances.
In addition to outpatient care and voluntary help for affected families, this association is able to offer invaluable assistance and support in the form of a children’s hospice that has been providing full-time care for chronically sick children since 2009. Located in a former mill in the village of Dudenhofen, this is an ‘oasis in the countryside,’ a place offering peace and quiet, where families with sick children can recharge their batteries and find the strength to deal with situations that often involve years of constant care and treatment.
Since 2012, projekt_ard GmbH & Co. KG has been a supporter of the association, Kinderhospiz Sterntaler e.V.
